A new official title aims to fill that gap.
Named United Chronicles, this 142-page publication for children chronicles the Reds’ evolution from their modest 19th-century origins to their status as global powerhouses in football. The book’s editor, club journalist Paul Davies, shares the inspiration behind its creation.
“In 2023, my kids, who were seven and nine at the time, asked me to find them a book that tells the ‘story of United’,” he recalls. “After searching online, I realized there weren’t any appropriate options for their age group, highlighting a significant void in the market that we needed to address!”
