The latest update on the market values in the English Premier League has been released, indicating adjustments for several major players. Despite an overall decrease in value by €237 million, the league remains the most valuable in the world at €12.53 billion. In total, 543 players saw their market values updated, with notable news being Erling Haaland’s value rising to €200 million.
The 25-year-old has made a sensational start to the season with Manchester City, making him the joint most valuable player globally, alongside Lamine Yamal. Meanwhile, Chelsea prodigy Estêvão saw a €20 million increase, while William Saliba has become the world’s most valuable defender at €90 million. Conversely, Liverpool had setbacks with Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz experiencing the largest declines, each dropping €20 million. The Most Valuable English Premier League Squads
Although Arsenal’s overall squad value decreased by 2.3%, they still hold the title of the most valuable club in the Premier League at €1.29 billion. While a few players like Bukayo Saka saw a decrease in value (-€10 million), others like Saliba and Jurriën Timber experienced increases. Manchester City retains second place, with Pep Guardiola’s squad value slightly down by 1.7% to €1.19 billion.
As depicted in the graphic above, Chelsea ranks third with a valuation of €1.18 billion, having surpassed Liverpool in the latest update. Tottenham rounds out the top five, while Manchester United (€719 million) has edged ahead of Newcastle United (€713 million). Interestingly, two of the three newly promoted teams are still struggling in relegation spots, but Sunderland has impressively climbed to 16th place, reflecting their successful return to the Premier League.
