Amorim is optimistic that the issue won’t sideline the centre-back for an extended period, especially with Wolverhampton Wanderers set to face them on Monday night.
The upcoming month promises a busy schedule as the festive fixtures increase.
“It’s a tough situation, particularly this year, as we’ve mainly relied on Harry [Maguire] and Matta in those roles,” he shared with Premier League Productions.
“This is certainly a setback. He has been performing exceptionally well. However, I’m genuinely excited about Ayden [Heaven]. He has been training there and possesses the right qualities to step in.”
