During a press conference on Friday afternoon, Ruben announced that Matheus Cunha, Harry Maguire, and Benjamin Sesko will not participate in the upcoming match. Meanwhile, Palace manager Oliver Glasner confirmed that captain Marc Guehi will be in the lineup, despite having been substituted at halftime during Thursday’s 2-1 UEFA Conference League defeat to Strasbourg.
Amorim emphasized that the early kickoff will not negatively impact his team’s preparation for the match in the capital.
“If you play for Manchester United, you’re expected to adapt, even if that means playing at seven in the morning. We need to be ready for any situation,” he stated.
