In terms of relationships, Ella is relishing her position as vice-captain and feels that her leadership abilities are growing with experience. However, she hasn’t yet had the chance to don the armband, thanks to Maya Le Tissier’s remarkable consistency!
“That’s right, I’ve never worn it! [Laughs]
“I don’t think being vice-captain has changed much for me. I’ve been at United since I was young, and with all my experiences in football—whether it’s playing for my club, competing in FA Cup finals, representing England, or participating in the Euros and World Cup—I feel I’ve matured significantly over the years.
“My approach hasn’t changed; I always strive to give my all in every match and lead by example, but I also make sure to speak up when necessary and encourage my teammates.
“I’ve just honed these qualities over time, and nothing has shifted in that regard since taking on the vice-captain role. I fully embrace it and hope to fulfill the responsibilities well.”
