TEAM NEWS
Matheus Cunha, Harry Maguire, and Benjamin Sesko were all sidelined during the disappointing loss to David Moyes’s side due to injuries. We are awaiting further updates on their conditions from Amorim in his next media briefing.
Sesko sustained an issue during the 2-2 draw against Spurs and is expected to be unavailable for a few weeks. Maguire also failed to recover from an injury he sustained in north London. Meanwhile, Cunha’s absence, caused by a training-related issue, is not believed to be serious, but he missed the Monday night match.
Lisandro Martinez made his return to the matchday squad against Everton, though he remained an unused substitute, as did promising Academy player Shea Lacey. Both Casemiro and Patrick Chinazaekpere Dorgu are currently on four yellow cards this season, putting them one booking away from suspension.
Palace’s squad situation may change after Thursday, but Cheick Doucoure is still in recovery following knee surgery that ended his 2024/25 season prematurely.
Marc Guehi made his comeback to the starting lineup for the victory against Wolves after missing England’s last two World Cup qualifiers, while Eddie Nketiah made a substitute appearance after returning from injury.
