In December, over 1,000 players in the third and fourth tiers of English football had their market values reassessed. League One saw updates for 605 players, while League Two had 577 players’ values revised. The total market value of League One is €280 million, placing it among the top 40 most valuable leagues worldwide and showcasing the talent progressing through the English football hierarchy.

League One Market Values

Cardiff City’s 19-year-old center-back, Dylan Lawlor, recently made his debut for the Wales national team and was the standout performer in League One with a value increase of +€1.1 million, raising his market value from €100k to €1.2 million. Following him is Bolton Wanderers’ winger Amario Cozier-Duberry, on loan from Brighton, whose value climbed from €2 million to €3 million. Despite being the most valuable player in the division, Luton Town’s injured striker Elijah Adebayo experienced the largest drop, falling by -€2 million to €4.5 million.


Regarding squad values, Jack Wilshere’s Luton is the most valuable team at €38.2 million, despite a significant downturn of -€8.6 million overall. Cardiff holds the second spot with €28.9 million, also suffering a reduction (-€2.9 million). Bolton enjoyed the most substantial growth, with their squad value rising by +€1.6 million to €19.8 million, making them the third most valuable club in the third tier.

League Two Market Values

In League Two, the most valuable player continues to be MK Dons striker Aaron Collins. Although he experienced a -€200k decline in this latest update, his value remains at €800k. The second most valuable player is Notts County’s Alassana Jatta, who increased his value by +€100k to €600k. The standout from the League Two updates was Oldham’s full-back Jamie Robson, who received his first market value of €200k. The biggest decline was for Cambridge’s 31-year-old midfielder Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu, whose value dropped -€600k to €400k. MK Dons boasts the highest squad value in the division at €7.1 million.
