“I’m predicting a 3-1 victory for England,” Cook stated. “Much will hinge on the outcome of the first Test. If we can get off to a strong start—which I genuinely believe they will, particularly with Australia missing Pat Cummins—that’s a significant blow for them.
“Their batting lineup seems as unstable as it has been over the past decade, and I truly believe England has a solid chance. Ultimately, it will depend on which bowling attack can outperform the other, but with Cummins out of the picture, England’s chances have definitely improved.”
