FORM GUIDE
Last season, United faced Spurs four times, suffering defeats on each occasion: twice in the Premier League, 4-3 in a Carabao Cup match in London, and most heartbreakingly, 1-0 in the UEFA Europa League final in Bilbao.
This match provides a chance to rectify those past mistakes and build on an encouraging recent streak, which includes three wins and a draw since early October.
Under Frank, Spurs started the season on a high note, highlighted by a remarkable 2-0 victory away at Manchester City in their second game. However, their performances at home have disappointed fans. While they boast the best away record in the league, they did suffer a defeat to Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup.
The situation at their home ground tells a different story, as their only league victory there was against Burnley on opening weekend, with just one additional point earned from a 1-1 draw against the struggling Wolves.
Before this weekend’s encounter, Spurs face another home match against Copenhagen tonight (Tuesday).
