In light of this, we’ve compiled a list of the 30 most valuable players in Transfermarkt history, showcasing a stellar mix of iconic figures both past and present.
In the realm of Transfermarkt, four players have reached the remarkable €200 million milestone. Leading the pack is Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal, who achieved this feat at just 17 years old, making him the most valuable player in the world today at the same amount. Following him is French forward Kylian Mbappé, who reached a career-high €200 million in 2018 at just 19 while playing for PSG. Next is Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior, who hit €200 million last year at 24 years old but has since seen his value drop to €150 million. Completing the €200 million club is Manchester’s Erling Haaland, who attained this figure in 2024 at the age of 24. Additionally, there are three players who have reached €180 million.
Jude Bellingham, occurring fifth on the list, reached €180 million in 2023 at just 20 years old and has maintained that figure since. Neymar also made it to €180 million in 2018 at the age of 25 while at PSG, while the legendary Lionel Messi achieved this milestone in 2017 at Barcelona.
