TEAM NEWS FOR BRIGHTON
The visitors, who are currently in great form, have received a boost with Diego Gomez set to return after being substituted during their 2-1 victory over Newcastle United. The injury situation within the squad is improving.
Players Brajan Gruda, Kaoru Mitoma, and Joel Veltman are all in line to potentially feature, while Jack Hinshelwood, Solly March, and Adam Webster remain sidelined.
“They’re all close to rejoining the team,” Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler commented regarding Gruda, Mitoma, and Veltman. “So one or two of them might be fit to play. Their issues are minor.”
“It’s nothing serious, but I can’t guarantee that all of them will be available, nor can I say for sure that they won’t be.”
“We’ll evaluate their status after Friday’s session and then make a decision. I believe Diego will be ready and spotted at Old Trafford tomorrow [Saturday]. He should be fit to start.”
