Lamine Yamal has made a remarkable start to his career as a superstar at Barcelona, quickly establishing himself as one of the best players globally. At just 18 years old, he has already set multiple impressive records for both club and country.
Yamal made history by becoming Barcelona’s youngest-ever player when he debuted against Real Betis in April 2023, and his record-breaking journey continues. He is also the youngest player in Barcelona history to play in the Champions League and the youngest ever scorer in LaLiga. Recently, he added to his accolades by featuring and scoring in Barcelona’s 6-1 victory over Olympiacos on Tuesday night.
Youngest Players to Reach 25 Champions League Appearances
Yamal has now achieved the remarkable feat of becoming the youngest player to reach 25 appearances in the Champions League, accomplishing this at the age of 18 years, three months, and eight days. The Spanish international has already notched six goals and provided seven assists in this prestigious tournament, with Barcelona being strong contenders to win the trophy this season.
