Kane's only critique post-game was allowing Dortmund back into the match after a dominant first-half display. “We were in control of the game,” Kane noted. “We should have been ahead by two or three goals at halftime. After that, Dortmund gained momentum and caused us some issues, but they were minor compared to our first-half performance.” Michael Olise extended the lead to 2-0 in the 79th minute, only for Julian Brandt to pull one back just two minutes later. “We were disappointed to concede so quickly after our second goal, but we found a way to secure the win. We had to defend our box effectively and could have potentially added one or two more goals on the counter.”</p>
