TEAM NEWS
As we prepare for Sunday’s match, United is optimistic about entering the game with minimal injury concerns. Noussair Mazraoui has been sidelined since our encounter with Chelsea at the end of September but has now joined the Morocco squad during the international break. Meanwhile, Lisandro Martinez is still working on his recovery from a knee injury he sustained back in February.
Ayden Heaven had to be substituted at halftime during a recent match for the England Under-20 team after receiving treatment on the field, and we are awaiting further updates regarding his condition. Ruben Amorim may offer more insights on the young defender and any other team developments in his pre-match press conference before our match against Liverpool.
On the other hand, Liverpool is facing several injury challenges. Alisson, Wataru Endo, and Giovanni Leoni are all unlikely to participate in the game, as none of them featured for their national teams during the break.
Ibrahima Konate and Ryan Gravenberch were also uncertain before the international break. Konate departed from the France camp, while Gravenberch played in both of the Netherlands’ matches, leaving it unclear whether manager Arne Slot will consider them fit to start in the upcoming domestic fixture.
