The manager has provided an update on Millie Turner’s recovery timeline, revealing that her knee injury sustained at London City three weeks ago is not as severe as initially believed.
However, Skinner suggested that we are unlikely to see the veteran center-back back in action until 2025.
“Millie’s knee injury wasn’t as serious as we first thought, but she’s expected to be sidelined until around Christmas,” he stated.
“We’re hoping to have her return shortly after the new year. That’s the projected timeline and our plan moving forward.”
Unfortunately, this means Millie will miss our six Champions League matches, starting with the first against Norwegian team Valerenga next Wednesday at Leigh.
