Jess has taken over the United Women’s no. 8 shirt from Grace Clinton, who left the jersey behind after completing her transfer to City on Thursday.
Clinton wore the number as she made her debut with the Reds’ first team last season, having inherited it from midfielder Irene Guerrero, who donned it during her single season with the club in 2023/24.
This number has also been worn in midfield by Vilde Boe Risa from 2021 to 2023, as well as by Mollie Green.
Green was the first player to wear the women’s team no. 8 following its reformation in 2018, showcasing the number during the Championship-winning season of 2018/19 and again in 2019/20.
