The 18-year-old full-back signed with the Reds from his childhood club, Cerro Porteno, in Paraguay. His impressive performance in early training sessions quickly secured him a spot on the Tour 2025, sponsored by Snapdragon.
Diego made his debut for United in Stockholm during a 0-0 match against Leeds United, followed by additional appearances against West Ham and AFC Bournemouth in the USA. He celebrated his first assist in Wednesday’s 4-1 win over Bournemouth.
“It’s amazing,” Diego expressed about being on tour.
