The first week of training showcased several promising talents from the Reds’ Academy, and traditionally, the opening match of pre-season has been a great chance for them to shine.
Since the club’s international players are only returning to training on Thursday after their summer break, the upcoming match against Daniel Farke’s team may feature a more experimental lineup from Amorim than he would typically field as the season approaches, when strategies and tactics are being solidified before competitive matches begin.
