Evans, now in the final stages of obtaining his UEFA A Licence, will oversee loan arrangements for Manchester United’s young players. He will collaborate closely with director of football Jason Wilcox and the Academy director to enhance processes that foster individual player development and prepare young talents for the first team.

This role marks the conclusion of Evans’s remarkable playing career. During his two tenures at United, the Academy product made 241 appearances and achieved significant accolades, including the Champions League title, three Premier League titles, the FA Cup, and two League Cups.

In total, Evans played 536 senior matches across five clubs, consistently displaying his professionalism. On the international stage, he earned 107 caps for Northern Ireland and received an MBE in 2023 in recognition of his contributions to football.
