“I’m sorry, Kobs, but I can’t let him take credit for the celebration. When he scored, I was so caught up in my excitement that I missed the moment live. I was off to the side, bouncing on my left leg and grabbing Matta [Matthijs de Ligt] in a playful embrace.
“It wasn’t until after the game that I saw it. He showed me and asked, ‘Hey, did you see what I did?’ I responded, ‘Yeah, you scored an amazing goal, well done!’
“Then he pointed out, ‘No, did you notice the celebration?’ When I saw the picture, I thought to myself, ‘That looks even better than any other celebration photo I have!’
“It was a fantastic moment, and I truly felt honored.”
