We’ve compiled the total league goals from the top five leagues—Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, and Ligue 1—to identify the top 20 players who have showcased their scoring prowess.
2025’s Leading Goalscorers
At the forefront is Real Madrid’s star forward Kylian Mbappé. After a slow start to his Los Blancos tenure by his lofty standards, he shone brightly, netting an astonishing 39 goals in 26 La Liga appearances throughout 2025. In second place is Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane, who remains in top form with 31 goals in 33 Bundesliga matches over the last year. Coming in third is Manchester City’s prolific striker Erling Haaland, having scored 27 times in 30 Premier League games. Marseille’s Mason Greenwood takes fourth, contributing 22 goals in 34 Ligue 1 fixtures.
Fifth place belongs to Borussia Dortmund’s Serhou Guirassy, who netted 20 goals across 32 Bundesliga matches in 2025. In sixth is Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski with 19 goals in 29 La Liga matches. Seventh is Atlético Madrid’s Julián Alvarez, also with 19 goals but in 37 games. Eighth is Bayer Leverkusen’s Patrik Schick with 18 goals from 31 Bundesliga appearances. Rounding out the top ten are Barcelona’s Ferran Torres (18 goals) and former Angers player now at Stade Rennes, Estéban Lepaul (17 goals).
